About the Southsea Comedy Festival

The brand new Southsea Comedy Festival launches this summer with a line-up of fantastically hilarious comedians – Eddie Izzard, Russell Kane, Adam Hills and Rob Beckett to name a few.

Presented by the Portsmouth Cultural Partnership, the Southsea Comedy Festival will run alongside popular family festival, the Southsea Show, on Southsea Common, Portsmouth this summer.

Organising both events is the Portsmouth Cultural Partnership, a not-for-profit organisation consisting of local venues and businesses, including The Cellars, Wedgewood Rooms, King’s Theatre, the Portsmouth Cultural Trust (Guildhall management), Technical Services, MG Security, Love Southsea and Express FM.
